I just bought some new camo cargos and my mom washed them and they faded sooooo BAD in 1 wash! WTF HAPPEND? it also happend to my new navy aero shirt, and my black skinnys, i ask my mom wtf are you doing to the clothes stop putting bleach and she said that shes not putting bleach. What might she be doing wrong?

    Three things fade clothes fast: Clorox, hot water, and machine-drying.

    If you want to preserve the color of clothes, wash using the cold water setting and hang them to air dry.

    If you want to go that extra mile use a detergent like Wool Dark Care for dark clothing.

    Water too hot. And maybe too much soap. Always wash darks and colours in cold water and you won’t have this problem.

    Maybe it isnt your mom. You should check the little tag in the back and see HOW you need to wash it and if you can dry it in the dryer or air dry.
